In partnership with the Portland Rugby Football Club, USA Rugby, and the New England Free Jacks, the MHSRA is bringing rugby to Maine! The boys will compete in five hub regions: York County, Aroostook County, Portland, New Hampshire, and Cumberland County North (Freeport). The girls will form a super-regional team that will compete against other high school clubs from New England. Both groups will practice at Freeport High School. Spring Sevens will align with the spring MPA sports season, running from March through June.

*Note: The team will practice outside on the FHS JBS Turf whenever possible; the Morse Street School Gym is reserved throughout the season in case practices need to be moved indoors.
